National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll-out

From 1 July 2016, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will start to roll-out to regions across Victoria. The full roll-out will take place over the next three years. The NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to take part in everyday activities.

The NDIS will change the way some Multi-Purpose Taxi Program users access support for taxi trips. The NDIS is working through the specific details of how it will support taxi journeys and more information will be available in the coming months. Please check back regularly for the latest information.
